Biography

Jon Shirazi is a Rockville native passionate about helping others. He began his journey at Towson University, earning a degree in Psychology. Seeking a hands-on role in healthcare, he pursued a Master’s in Nursing from Johns Hopkins University and advanced training as a Nurse Practitioner at Georgetown University. At Suburban Hospital, Jon gained experience working throughout the hospital in specialties like oncology, surgical, and emergency care. This diverse background shaped his holistic approach to patient care, enabling him to connect with individuals and address their unique needs. Jon partners with patients to create a welcoming environment where all questions are encouraged. He is dedicated to using evidence-based practices to empower his patients. Outside of work, Jon stays active, enjoys time with his family, and is passionate about animal rescue. He loves watching football and spending time with his dog, Jimmy, while exploring ways to engage with his community.
