Personal Interests

Dr. Skoda-Mount and her husband, a civil engineer, live in Washington, D.C. with their daughters, Harriet and Lola. She speaks Spanish after studying it for 13+ years in school, college, while living in NYC, and watching many telenovelas. In her spare time, she enjoys "reading" audiobooks and spending time with her family and friends in the area.

Biography

Dr. Emily Skoda-Mount was born and raised in Rockville, MD. She received her bachelor of science degree from the University of Maryland. Her medical school training was completed at New York University School of Medicine in New York City.

She completed her internship and residency at Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital of New York - Columbia University Medical Center in New York City before joining our practice.

Dr. Skoda-Mount is board certified in pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honors Society.
