Biography

Dr. Ahmed’s training in obstetrics includes prenatal care, vaginal and cesarean deliveries, operative deliveries, ultrasound, infertility, and management of pregnancy complications. Pregnancy and childbirth are some of the most amazing and happy times in a woman’s life and Dr. Ahmed strives to ensure that each woman’s journey is a joyful and safe experience, and feels truly privileged to share in these breathtaking moments that change families forever. She feels equally honored to stand with her patients through the tougher times and provide compassionate care for those facing difficult losses or infertility.

Her training in gynecology includes both traditional and minimally invasive surgical techniques, as well as non-surgical approaches to common gynecologic issues. She routinely performs hysterectomy, laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, endometrial ablation, sterilization, and many other surgeries. She is knowledgeable about hormone replacement therapy as well as other conditions related to hormone imbalance. She is passionate about women’s health maintenance as well as contraception and family planning and wants her patients to feel empowered and well-informed about their health.

Dr. Ahmed comes from a big family and loves spending time with them. She has been married to her wonderful husband for 8 years and they have a son who is almost 2 years old! They love to travel and try new things. She also enjoys reading, cooking, and watching movies.
