Personal Interests

When Meagan isn’t working, she loves being outside with her husband and two fur babies, hitting a trail, going to a park, or doing some gardening. Her other interests include attending concerts, traveling, listening to the latest Crime Junkie podcast, college football, and spending time with her friends and family.

Biography

Meagan is originally from Mississippi where she received two undergraduate degrees, one in psychology from Mississippi State, and her bachelors of nursing from University of Mississippi Medical Center before moving to Houston, TX in 2016. She worked as a nurse in the hospital setting for 6 years before joining the group, including over 4 years as a labor and delivery nurse at The Woman’s Hospital of Texas. As a nurse practitioner, Meagan loves taking care of women throughout the lifespan and has a particular interest in contraceptive care/education, preventative health measures, and breast health.

Meagan also offers a wide variety of virtual visits from Breast Cancer Risk Assessments to find out your lifetime risk of breast cancer and what breast imaging would be best for your risk level, visits for anxiety, depression, or postpartum mood disorders, and many other topics.
