OBGYN Medical Center launches a Weight Loss and Metabolic Heath Wellness Center to manage your goals under the supervision of your doctor
At OB-Gyn Medical Center Associates, we listen. For over 60 years, we have seen, heard, and treated women’s health concerns in a compassionate, comprehensive, and clinically responsible way. We are privileged to be part of the movement driving attention and advancement in women’s health concerns, and helping them achieve expectations for maintenance of mood, appearance, and sexual health throughout the chapters of life.
We recognize women are seeking solutions for their hormone and weight management concerns outside of their traditional medical home. We also have seen some of the more negative effects of receiving such treatment outside of a licensed physician that knows you, your health history, and how all of the pieces of your wellbeing interplay over the course of treatment.
With that in mind, we are happy to announce that we have created a Wellness Center within OMC to help you achieve your wellness goals through a customized plan developed under the guidance and supervision of your trusted doctor.
Weight Loss and Metabolic Health
Weight management and proper nutrition is paramount to one's mental and physical well being. Through a partnership with Iron Health, a March of Dimes Innovation Fund project, we have created a comprehensive weight loss and maintenance program. Our monthly subscription program allows you and your provider to customize a weight loss plan that meets your needs and busy schedule. After an initial consultation and evaluation, you will choose the program that is right for you, including the use of the new GLP-1 medications with virtual visits for follow up care from our registered dieticians, behavioral health therapists and support teams. The initial cost of GLP-1 weight loss medications start at $275 for Semaglutide and $475 for Tirzepatide. Whether it is fifteen pounds or fifty that you are trying to lose, our team of experts will support you through this journey.
Hormone Replacement and Body Composition
Few areas of women's healthcare evoke as many different personal and professional opinions as hormone replacement therapy. While everybody agrees that levels of Testosterone, Estrogen and Progesterone decrease with age in women, the differences arise in recognizing these changes as normal for aging vs deficient and warranting replacement. These differences in opinions make it difficult for patients to navigate through this normal but complex stage of life. Our team of experts will work with you and your OB-Gyn Medical Center Associates doctor to customize the right hormone replacement regimen for you.
