Privia Patient Announcement

Dear Valued Patient, 

We are excited to share that we are joining Privia Medical Group, a decision aimed at enhancing our ability to serve you as an independent practice. This will allow an improved patient portal, more online educational material and easier online check-in. 

This is an exciting step for our practice, and we believe it will enhance the care we provide to you. You will receive a second email shortly with additional information, including a registration link for our new patient portal. We encourage you to register to ensure the best possible experience with our practice. In response to the evolving healthcare landscape, we are making strategic changes to remain an independent practice while continuing to serve your needs. Partnering with Privia Medical Group, a respected national organization, will help us enhance the quality of care we offer right here in the Ohio Group. 

This transition will be effective on October 15, 2024. 

As part of this partnership, we will continue to be able to accept over 96% of insurances:

We encourage you to verify your specific insurance coverage with your provider. If your insurance is not listed, we can still see you as a self-pay patient or at out of network tier level. 

As most medical practices have already done, beginning January 1, 2025, our financial policies will include us charging for the following: 

• Prescription refill requests via phone or patient portal 
• No-show for office visit 
• No-show for surgery/procedure
• After-hours calls to physicians billed per documented minutes
• Form filing fees (e.g., disability, FMLA) 

If you are currently pregnant and do not see your insurance on the list, we will, of course, work with you to ensure continuity of care throughout your pregnancy and delivery.
