Biography

Dr. Sharafi is a board certifies Family Medicine Physician who received his Medical Doctorate in Iran and after finishing residency in Urology he practiced as a Kidney surgeon for few years; after coming to US, he got motivated to follow his carrier as a Family medicine physician and he completed his residency in Detar hospital affiliated with Texas A&M University.

He strives to provide the best possible care and considers himself a “health advocate” and loves working with his patients. He believes it is important to know what your patient’s goal and values are and what they want to achieve in order together toward the goal.

Outside of work, Dr. Sharafi loves playing piano, spending time with his wife and two kids and friends, and exploring different places.
