Biography

Annie is a South Carolina native who discovered a passion for healthcare early in life, spending much of her adolescence and young adulthood volunteering in the Emergency Department. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of South Carolina.

After spending a transformative year studying abroad in China, Annie decided to pursue a career in nursing and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Medical University of South Carolina.

With over a decade of experience in high-acuity medical settings, Annie has developed expertise in Emergency Medicine and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).  Driven to further expand her role in patient care, she returned to school and earned her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Simmons University. She now works as a Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care/Immediate Care where she continues to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in dynamic and high-pressure environments.
