Biography

Dr. Melissa A. Behm graduated from Savannah Country Day in Savannah, Georgia, in 1997.  She received her undergraduate degree from Auburn University in 2001, graduating cum laude with a B.S. in Microbiology.  From 2001 to 2005, she attended and graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia, where she received her M.D.  From 2005 to 2008, Dr. Behm completed her pediatric residency at Greenville Hospital University Medical Center in Greenville, South Carolina.

After completing her residency, Dr. Behm was a physician with Pediatrics Associates in Easley, South Carolina from 2008 to 2010.  In August 2010, she returned home to Savannah, Georgia, and joined Dr. Stone at Coastal Pediatrics. Dr. Behm and her husband, TJ, have three children.

Dr. Behm has a Georgia medical license and is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.  Her professional affiliations include:  American Academy of Pediatrics (Fellow).
