Biography

Dr. Delia Wessels (pronounced “vessels”) is a board-certified pediatrician and the owner of Allied Pediatrics. She moved to Chattanooga in June of 2013 after five years of private practice in the Lake Tahoe area in order to be closer to her extended family. Dr. Wessels completed medical school and her pediatric residency at Loma Linda University in Southern California after which she worked at Kaiser Permanente before moving to Northern Nevada. She has a wide range of pediatric interests including holistic preventive care, newborn medicine, asthma and allergies, special needs children and school health. Dr. Wessels is fluent in Spanish and Afrikaans (Dutch) and believes that all children deserve access to excellent medical care.
