Proudly Part of Privia Health
Three weeks into the Middleton Pediatrics roadshow, things are looking up.
As many of you know, our building on Marks St. completely flooded during Hurricane Ian. As a result, it has required significant renovations (flooring, drywall, etc.).
Much progress is being made every day, and we hope to be able to re-enter in one to two weeks. Stay tuned for more specific updates.
Many of you have gone out of your way to express understanding of our situation [some of you have even offered specific help… and we have taken you up on the offer ]. “Thanks” is not enough to express our gratitude. What motivates us every day is the privilege and responsibility of caring for children. Thank you for giving us that opportunity and being patient with us as we figure out how to continue doing so during these different and challenging circumstances. Over the last three weeks, our team has answered over 3000 phone calls, seen over 1200 patient appointments, handled over 500 patient cases (outside of patient visits), and completed hundreds of forms for schools and daycare. I share all this to let you know how proud I am of our team and so you can see the commitment these dedicated individuals have to care for your child.
In the meantime, we are so grateful for the VaxCare space (1080 Woodcock Rd.) that we have been able to use. They have been a great partner for years, never more so than during the last three weeks. As a company, they are full of excellence and full of kindness – a rare combination. Thank you, VaxCare!
We realize that this relocation and necessary rescheduling has created inconveniences for many of you. We are genuinely sorry about this, and please know that your understanding is greatly appreciated. We are actively planning make up times to create slots for these appointments. This will include evening and weekend clinics, and these are already happening. More to come.
Best of health,
The Middleton Pediatrics Team
