Mental Health Awareness Month May 2024
May is Mental Health Awareness Month. At Manassas Pediatrics we are well aware of how many children and teens are struggling with mental health issues daily. Taking care of mental health is just as important as our physical health and many things that can help our bodies also help our minds. Things such as getting enough sleep, regular exercise and eating healthy are important first steps. Our doctors and NPs can provide additional consultation and help when your child needs it so don't hesitate to call us.
The American Academy of Pediatrics also has some great family handouts to assist as well.
