Biography
Haley Fuchs is a NCCPA board certified Physician Assistant. She holds a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Washington and a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from Loyola University Chicago. Currently, she is actively licensed to practice medicine in the states of Virginia and Maryland.
Haley is joining our practice after joining her husband for a four-year US Military Tour in Germany, during which time she served as the lead supervising Physician’s Assistant running a virtual speciality clinic based in California. She has worked in pediatric medicine internationally across three separate continents and boasts a multidisciplinary background in the field pf pediatrics including those of primary care, emergency medicine, and research.
Haley’s extensive time in pediatrics exposed her to a multitude of pediatric neurological conditions, such as ADHD, migraines/headaches, developmental delay, tics, concussions, and more. Her exposure to these conditions led her to a career specializing in pediatric neurology where she could guide her patients to help them understand the connection between their brain and body. Haley is inspired by the resilience of the children she treats who are currently facing neurological challenges. During the years that Haley lived abroad, she was exposed to a multitude of cultures, languages, and countries, which cultivated her passion for working with diverse and migratory families. Her experience living internationally has allowed Haley to learn first hand from Spanish and German native speakers in their own country, giving her the opportunity to build personal connections with her patients to provide clear treatment communication. Haley looks forward to assisting her patients through their recovery process to help them reach maximal neurological wellness and health.
