Biography

Dr. Heather Capozzella earned her doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of the Incarnate Word in 2020. Her academic and professional experience emphasize a problem-based learning approach, helping her meet the many unique challenges facing each individual patient. Since graduation Heather has expanded her areas of speciality to include care for the women’s health and pelvic floor treatment, trigger-point dry-needling, and spinal manipulation.

Heather has a personal and professional background in athletics: she has been a competitive runner since high school and regularly practices swimming and cycling. She still enjoys maintaining an athletic lifestyle, hiking, running, and strength training.

Heather has a passion for helping her patients maintain their active lifestyles, in all their unique circumstances.
