Biography

Dr. Das received her bachelor's and medical degree from Indiana University.  Dr. Das completed an internship in family practice and general surgery and completed her OB/GYN residency at the Methodist Hospital Graduate Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. She is board-certified by and a fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and has practiced in the field for nearly 30 years. Dr. Das is nationally recognized as a mentor for physicians seeking board certification. She lectures throughout the country, has authored five books and is currently Course Director for America's OB/GYN Board Review Course. Dr. Das was recognized for five consecutive years by Harvard's Best Doctors in America.  Dr. Das is also ranked in the 99th percentile of physicians nationally on Healthgrades and is listed as a Cigna Care designated physician.  Dr. Das specializes in urogynecology, which addresses urinary incontinence and prolapse. She was in the inaugural class to be the first in the nation to achieve her second board certification in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.  She was also recognized by her peers as a Urogynecology Quality Champion for her excellence in surgical outcomes.  In addition to her subspecialty, she enjoys the challenge of the complicated menopausal patient as well as still enjoys helping a couple achieve a healthy pregnancy. Dr. Das is a retired Army Colonel and remains physically fit with running, but especially enjoys golfing with her husband and sons.
