Biography

Dr. Garrett is a life long Connecticut resident. She grew up in Vernon, attended college in Massachusetts, returned to Connecticut for medical school where she met her husband, and then completed Residency back in Massachusetts. She now lives in the Quiet Corner of Connecticut with her husband, Dr. Andrew Garrett, on their hobby farm. They are empty-nesters with three adult children. Together, they endeavor to live off the land and off the grid, tending vegetable gardens, fruit trees, a three season (no summer) walipini, solar panels, and the forest, which provides their winter heat and hiking trails.
