Biography

Elaina was born in Garfield Heights, Ohio and grew up in Medina, Ohio. She became a registered nurse at Kent State University in Ohio and then entered the Air Force. She worked as a staff nurse in a newborn nursery and pediatric ward prior to becoming a nurse practitioner through an Air Force certification program. She has been a nationally certified nurse practitioner since 1990. She retired from the Air Force in 2006 and moved to Grand Prairie, Texas to be closer to family. She has been working with Dr. Gold since they were both stationed in the Air Force together at Little Rock Air Force base in Arkansas.
