Biography

Andrea graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgia State University in 2016. She spent most of her nursing career at Shepherd Center caring for individuals with traumatic spinal cord injuries. She found her experiences caring for adolescents at Shepherd Center to be especially fulfilling. Andrea’s favorite part of her work at Shepherd Center was the relationships she was able to develop with patients over their extended stays. Andrea also worked at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta caring for children with chronic gastrointestinal and respiratory conditions. Andrea graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with her Master of Science in Nursing in 2023 with a specialization in Pediatric Primary Care. Andrea is passionate about positively impacting both the immediate and long-term health and wellness of children.
