Biography

Dr. Viet Nguyen, DO is originally from Potomac, MD and he is returning to the area to fulfill his dream of opening a Primary Care practice, Fairfax Clinic, in Falls Church, VA. Dr. Nguyen is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the Cleveland Clinic Florida in 2011. He completed his B.A. at the University of Virginia and Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine with Honors at Nova Southeastern University.

Dr. Nguyen was a National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Recipient and he completed three years of service commitment to America’s communities with limited medical access. While fulfilling his service commitment in Baltimore, Dr. Nguyen was appointed to the faculty at the University of Maryland School of Medicine as a Clinical Instructor. Dr. Nguyen is trained in Buprenorphine Office-based Opioid Dependence treatment. He is also certified with the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners to complete Department of Transportation Commercial Driver Physical Exams. He speaks English, Vietnamese, and Medical Spanish.
