Biography
Dr. Siegel grew up in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He pursued much of his education in Virginia, completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia, where he earned a degree in Neuroscience with distinction. He then continued on to earn his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia, where he served as Vice President of his class, and was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honor society.
Dr. Siegel completed his Ophthalmology training at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas – one of the premier Ophthalmology Departments in the United States. He received rigorous clinical experience as a result of high surgery volume and clinical pathology. He then went on to pursue his interest in the subspecialty care of glaucoma at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, and was exposed to cutting edge surgical therapies for this challenging disease. Dr. Siegel is excited to offer multiple different minimally invasive glaucoma surgeries (MIGS) to his patients, in addition to complex cataract surgeries and premium lens implants.
Dr. Siegel is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and of the American Glaucoma Society.
