Biography

Kaylen James is a Registered Physician Assistant- Certified and proudly serving the New Braunfels- San Antonio community. She Graduated from University of North Texas Health Science Center in Forth Worth, Tx. Following the completion of her studies, Kaylen moved to San Antonio to start her career working in Neurosurgery, specifically working with spine patients and beginning her exposure to pain management. After 5 years of neurosurgery Kaylen spent a few years serving patients in psychiatry, providing her with experience in treating her patients as a whole.

During her years of practice Kaylen has been able to sharpen her skills and knowledge in pain management varying from medication management, procedures and post-surgical care. She has profound experience and a wide breadth of knowledge in treating joint pain, lower back pain, neuropathy, radiculopathy, neck pain and many other types of acute and chronic conditions.

When she is not working as a Physician Assistant, Kaylen enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and spending time outdoors. Kaylen is also a sports enthusiast with her passion surrounding Texas collegiate football as well as Texas Ranger baseball. Kaylen’s personality and experience allows her to go above and beyond, not only treating a patient’s pain, but also providing well rounded treatment promoting a better future.
