Biography

Dr. Nicholas Fiacco has been a Tarheel for most of his life, spending most of his childhood in the Charlotte, NC area. After some time away, the US Navy brought Dr. Fiacco back to the Tarheel State in 2016 and he is proud to call North Carolina home.

He is a graduate of the fellowship program at UNC where he was mentored by leaders in the fields of diabetes, pituitary disease, obesity, and bone/mineral metabolism. He brings this expertise to his practice as well as his love of lifelong learning ensuring that he is at the forefront of medical therapies.

For Dr. Fiacco, every patient is an athlete. Though health goals may be different for each individual, ranging from a desire to hold a grandchild without injury to competing in extreme endurance events, the processes to achieving these goals are very similar.

Dr. Fiacco is a proud veteran and brings his understanding of the time in uniform to his practice. He is also a proud husband and father of two wonderful kids, bringing to the bedside an understanding that life can be busy, messy, and imperfect.
