Biography
Dr. Silva is not only a board-certified Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgeon, but he has completed an accredited fellowship training program in Pediatric Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. This gives him the unique skills necessary to take care of the entire family from very young children to the elderly.
The medical and surgical skills Dr. Silva acquired during his five-year Otolaryngology training program were greatly enhanced by completion of an additional one year fellowship training program in Pediatric Otolaryngology.
During this time, he was able to further develop the necessary skills to medically and surgically manage unique and complex disorders in critically ill premature infants and children.
Dr. Silva became a Diplomat of the American Board of Otolaryngology in April of 1997 after successfully passing a rigorous examination in General Otolaryngology, Otology, Facial Plastic Surgery, Head and Neck Surgery, and Pediatric Otolaryngology.
