Biography

Paulette Chavers was born and raised in Statesboro Ga. She obtained her high school diploma from Statesboro High School and furthered her education by earning a bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Development and a master’s degree in School Counseling from Georgia Southern University.

She is also a Licensed Professional Counselor with emphasis in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), a master’s Addiction Counselor (MAC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). She has been in the field of counseling for over 15 years and has been trained in many areas such as child sexual abuse treatment, post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, behavioral disorders, suicide prevention, substance abuse treatment, self-care and burn-out prevention and case management, just to name a few.

She thoroughly enjoys what she does, and prides herself with being honest to others, serving the community and advocating for those who feel as if they do not have a voice.
