Biography
Dr. Nandini Thillairajah joined Dr. Ray Coleman and his father Dr. Allan Coleman in practice in November of 1997, becoming a partner in Coleman Pediatrics in 2002. Her specific areas of interest are early childhood development, infant and toddler feeding and behavioral concerns, adolescent gynecology, and the eating and nutrition concerns of adolescents. She attended Princeton University and graduated magna cum laude in 1990 with a degree in Molecular Biology. She then attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and received her M.D. degree in 1994. In 1997, she completed her residency training in pediatrics from the Children’s National Medical Center in Washington D.C. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and was Board Certified and recertified by the American Board of Pediatrics in 1998, 2005 and 2015. Dr. Thillairajah was born in Washington D.C. and grew up in Bethesda, Maryland. She attended the Holton-Arms School in Bethesda. Dr. Thillairajah lives in Bethesda with her husband and two children and understands many of the challenges facing parents and families. She is actively involved in her children’s schools and serves as a resource for the school community. Dr. Thillairajah was recently named as a U.S. News & World Report Top Doctor. She is in the office five days a week and some Saturdays.
