Dr. Coleman Retiring from Coleman Pediatrics

Approaching 78 years of age and in general pediatric practice for almost 48 years (I joined my Dad in 1976---he founded the practice in 1949), I will be retiring by year's end. My Dad gave me a wonderful gift: the opportunity to care for 3+ generations of families and to do some good in this complicated world. I hope I have listened enough, have been considerate enough, and have had a sense of humility in caring for kids (and their parents). Just as the medical landscape changed over my Dad's 50 years in practice, I have seen a remarkable sea change in preventative and sick care as well.

I will miss the personal interactions I have enjoyed with families and my colleagues and staff. We are all part of an "extended" family unto itself----and that "ethic" will continue with Nandini Thillairajah, Jeff Greenberg, and Hannah Latta, who joined the practice this August. You will be in wonderful hands with the three of them.

Best wishes,
Dr. Ray Coleman
