Biography

Prakash V. Reddy, MD is a board certified Internal Medicine/Sleep Medicine/Pulmonary Medicine/Critical Care Medicine physician with the Health First Medical Group. He has been an active member of the medical staff for Health First Holmes Regional Medical Center since 2005.

Prior to his move to Florida, Dr. Reddy provided medical services in Savannah, GA. He was Attending Physician in Internal Medicine for both Memorial Health University Medical Center - Department of Urgent Care, and Westside Urban Health.

Dr. Reddy earned his Doctor in Medicine degree from Madras Medical College in Madras, India. He completed his Residency in Internal Medicine from Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah. He then completed a Fellowship in Pulmonology/Critical Care/ Sleep Medicine at the University of South Florida in Tampa.

Dr. Reddy has made numerous presentations including those at the Medical College of Central Georgia, the American College of Physicians (Georgia Chapter), the Southern Medical Association in Orlando and Nashville, and the American College of Chest Physicians. He has teaching experience at Mercer University, Medical College of Georgia, and the University of South Florida. Dr. Reddy has significant research on such topics as Role of Anticoagulation in Lung Cancer Survival, Nocardia Pericarditis in HIV, and Boerhaaves Syndrome.

Dr. Reddy is married and lives in Melbourne, Florida.
