Biography

Dr. Hashemi is a board certified OB/GYN and a Diplomate of the American Board of OB/GYN. She is also the Director of Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital.

Her medical care covers predominantly patients of both Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Her practice philosophy is to treat every patient with the utmost respect they deserve and to attend to their needs as a friend or a family member. Dr. Hashemi is an upstanding member of the local community in Virginia and has major roots in the local community.

Her post medical school training (residency), in the field of OB/GYN was with some of the world’s most renowned surgeons at Franklin Square hospital, located in Baltimore Maryland. There, she received numerous awards including scientific research awards, and voted the best teaching resident-physician, in her field.

Dr. Hashemi is an active member of the PTA and volunteers with the underprivileged communities.

Dr. Hashemi is available for office hours, 4 days per week, including late hours on Wednesday (for working parents).
