Biography

Christy Belflower is a board certified family nurse practitioner. She graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Master of Science in Nursing in 2017. She initially obtained her Associate of Science in Nursing from Macon State College and later earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Darton College. She worked as an emergency room nurse over ten years prior to receiving her master’s degree. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

Christy was born in Warner Robins and spent her childhood in Cochran, Georgia. She and her husband Shannon have two sons and two grandsons. Spending time with family is her favorite pastime. Other interests include reading, college football, travel, gardening, and podcasts.
