Biography
Dr. Janelle Perrone joined Brazos Valley Women’s Center in 2014. Originally from Brownwood, Texas, she graduated Cum Laude from Texas Tech University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition. In 2010, she received her Medical Doctorate from Texas A&M University. Dr. Perrone completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Memorial Hermann Hospital and The University of Texas Medical School at Houston in 2014. During medical school, Dr. Perrone was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha national honor society and received awards for Outstanding Student in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Internal Medicine Clerkships. In residency, Dr. Perrone received the AAGL Special Resident Award in Minimally Invasive Gynecology. She has particular interest in minimally invasive gynecology and is trained in da Vinci robotic surgery including single site platform. Her professional memberships include the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and Texas Medical Association (TMA).
