Biography

Growing up in a small town and working alongside my father in construction taught me the value of hard work, integrity, and putting people first. Those lessons became the foundation of my medical practice. When I became a physician, I made a promise to provide care with compassion, dedication, and the commitment to treat every patient like family.

I’ve proudly served the Ennis community since 2007 as the owner and physician of Blair Family Medicine, PA. Over the years, I’ve cared for patients in countless ways — from working in emergency rooms and ICUs to providing hospital inpatient care for adults and children. I was there during newborn resuscitations when Ennis Regional Medical Center had a labor and delivery department, and I even helped open the doors of the new hospital building in 2007. My time serving patients in local nursing homes has given me a deep respect for the diverse needs of our community. During my years as Vice Chief of Staff and Chief of Staff at the hospital, I worked tirelessly to ensure care for our community.

Now, my focus is on providing comprehensive, patient-centered care right here in my outpatient clinic. With nearly two decades of experience, I’ve built Blair Family Medicine to be more than a clinic — it’s a place where you’re treated like family. My wife, Catherine Blair, RN, works alongside me, and together we’ve created a practice dedicated to meeting your needs with compassion, respect, and top-notch medical care.

I also bring my leadership and expertise to Privia Medical Group North Texas, where I serve as Director of Government Programs and Medical Director for the Medicare Shared Savings Program. In these roles, I collaborate with and guide other healthcare providers, always striving to improve patient outcomes and the future of medicine.

When I’m not in the office, you’ll find me spending time with my wife and our three amazing teenagers, working on cars, welding, playing pickleball, or exploring the outdoors on UTVs. My family is my inspiration, and my faith drives my mission to serve God’s children through medicine.
