Biography

Dr. Hui Peng attended Xiangya Medical School in Chang Sha, P.R. China. Then she worked in human type 1 diabetes research involving prediction, pathogenesis, prevention, and treatment for eight years at Pacific Northwest Diabetes Research Institute in Seattle. She returned to clinical medicine in 2010 because she loves one on one care. She completed her medical residency at Greater Baltimore Medical Center, and her Endocrinology fellowship at Georgetown University Hospital and Washington Hospital Center. Dr. Peng is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Diabetes; Endocrinology and Metabolism. Her areas of interest include all aspects of endocrinology, particularly bone metabolism disease, thyroid disease, pituitary disease and diabetes. She is also a published author and presenter on Endocrinology topics.
