Personal Interests

Dr. Yeary enjoys spending time with the love of her life, Michael, and their three beautiful daughters. Together, they enjoy family game nights, movie nights, and traveling to new places. You might also find her dancing around the living room with her eldest daughter, Karis, tossing a volleyball to her middle daughter, Zoey, or engaging in a messy science experiment with the youngest, Avery. She has been married to Michael for two decades and remains so grateful for his enduring love and support.

Biography

Dr. Brandy Yeary is board-certified in family and obesity medicine with nearly 20 years of devoted service and expertise in the healthcare field. A native Texan, Dr. Yeary received an undergraduate degree in biology at the University of Texas in Austin. Upon completion, she earned a medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. Dr. Yeary completed her residency at Texas Tech Health Science Center in El Paso, TX where she served as chief resident her final year of training.

Throughout her career, Dr. Yeary has always enjoyed getting to know her patients beyond their initial health concerns and conditions. Her warmhearted, easy-going personality creates the ideal space for patients to feel both heard and understood. She aims to care for each person from the perspective of Sir William Osler: “The good physician treats the disease; the great physician treats the patient who has the disease.”

Dr. Yeary is deeply humbled by the opportunity to contribute to the life and well-being of others through medicine. She understands that this wonderful opportunity to invest in people is a precious gift, one that she dare not take for granted. Her faith has been and continues to be her bedrock. She aims to live her life according to Mark 12:30, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart.
