Biography

Dr. Katerji grew up in Aleppo, Syria which is one of the oldest cities in the world. She is one of four children - she and a brother are physicians and her other siblings are currently in residency to become physicians. Dr. Katerji graduated from Aleppo University, Faculty of Medicine and completed her residency at St. John Providence Children’s Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan. Her special area of interest is Pediatric Endrocrinology and pediatric growth and development. Dr. Katerji chose to locate in Maryland because of its diverse geography and seasonal weather changes. She has friends and family in the area as well.
