When not at work Dr. Barber enjoys spending time with her family and friends and loves being outdoors. She likes to be on the water–river, lake, or ocean, spending time in the country whenever she can, and enjoys gardening, interior design, cooking, reading, and traveling. She loves to go for walks in the rain (or snow) and appreciates all four seasons that central Virginia has to offer.
Biography
Dr. Matthew Giese graduated from Allegheny College in Pennsylvania and received his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at the University of Virginia and then joined Orange Family Physicians in 2004. Dr. Giese is Board Certified in Family Medicine. He enjoys pediatrics, sports medicine, urgent care situations such as lacerations and orthopedic injuries, and generally caring for the whole family.
