Biography

Jody Ritter, DO, is a board-certified, osteopathic internist. He is fellowship-trained in cardiology with solid experience diagnosing and treating a wide array of cardiology disorders.

Dr. Ritter received his Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, where he graduated magna cum laude. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale-Davie, Florida. Dr. Ritter then completed an internal medicine internship and residency, as well as a cardiology fellowship, at Mount Sinai Medical Center.

He has participated in numerous research studies published in prestigious medical journals and maintains his advanced credentials with continuing education. Dr. Ritter is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American College of Physicians, Florida Osteopathic Medical Association, and American College of Cardiologists. Dr. Ritter enjoys helping patients prevent or better manage diseases to achieve the best quality of life possible. His compassionate demeanor puts them at ease during appointments.
