Biography

Dr. Arehzo Jahangiri is native to the DC area, being born in Washington DC and growing up in Richmond, VA. She is a board certified physician in Internal Medicine and Cardiology. Dr. Jahangiri attended Virginia Commonwealth University on the MCV Campus and trained at MCV Hospital, a level one trauma center. She has returned to the area to practice cardiology in a private practice.

Dr. Jahangiri’s passion is in preventative cardiology, cardiac imaging and heart failure management. She is often heard saying that “I treat my patients like they are my family”. She believes that with this mentality, she is able to provide exceptional care to her patients. During her free time, Dr. Jahangiri enjoys spending time with her family, staying active by hiking, traveling, and trying new restaurants in the area. In addition, Dr. Jahangiri is a loyal fan of all DC sport teams, especially the Washington Football Team.
