Biography
Dr. Soojin Kim is a board-certified Family Medicine physician who practices in Northern Virginia. She is passionate about providing holistic, evidence-based care, focusing on preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and women’s health.
Dr. Kim spent her childhood in Korea and moved to Alabama during her adolescence. Her multicultural background has instilled in her a deep sense of cultural humility and an understanding of diverse patient needs. This unique life journey has shaped her approach to patient care, emphasizing inclusivity and respect for different cultural perspectives.
During her residency at St. Mark’s Family Medicine Residency Program, Dr. Kim took the opportunity to further explore medicine internationally, spending time at Seoul National University Hospital at Bundang in Korea. This experience enriched her practice by exposing her to different healthcare systems and approaches to patient care.
Dr. Kim is particularly passionate about lifestyle medicine, migraine management, women’s health, chronic disease management, and preventive care, believing that early intervention and patient education are key to improving long-term health outcomes. She is also committed to community health initiatives and enjoys mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Kim enjoys spending time with her family and staying active in the Northern Virginia community.
